Summary: The City of Austin seeks to redevelop its properties at 1215 Red River and 606 East 12th Streets and anticipates responses which: 1) explore innovative development proposals that increase the Downtown area’s supply of mixed-income housing, specifically including multiple-bedroom housing for households earning at or below 60 percent of area median family income. 2) develop the site in a manner that supports Austin values; and 3) maximize value to the City and its taxpayers through cash and/or in-kind contributions.
