| Summary: | HVAC will be added to the sodium hypochlorite (SH) building. A salt dust collection system will be added to the SH brine tank salt offloading. HVAC will be added to the filter building backwash blower room. Ventilation will be increased for the chemical building fluoride room. The absence of HVAC for the three (3) process buildings creates an operational difficulty due to overheating equipment. The salt dust created by salt offloading is drawn onto the equipment and creates a corrosive environment. The fluoride room requires additional ventilation for personnel safety. |
